Rudnitskiy Nikolai Vladimirovich (1880-1938)

Engineer of textile industry, architect. He was the head of the building office of Ivanovo-Voznesensk State Textile Organization. The organization sponsored the building of new factories, industrial communities, first soviet schools, nurseries, kindergartens, clubs, factory-kitchens, hospitals and ambulance stations. By the end of 1920s more than 20 employees had worked for the organization: architects Zhuk S.K., Trubnikov P.A. and lots of graduates from Ivanovo Polytechnic Institute. At the end of 1930s Nikolai was repressed and shot dead.
